Monroe-Chester Blackpowder Shoot !

The Monroe-Chester Sportsmen Club will be holding its bi-annual blackpowder matches on Saturday & Sunday June 23rd and 24th and Saturday and Sunday September 22nd & 23rd 2007 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.

Medals for top three scores will be awarded for flintlock and percussion rifle, smoothbore, rifled musket, pistol, revolver, and blackpowder cartridge competition. Categories exists for offhand, prone, benchrest, and crossed sticks competition. All events fired from our covered range at 25, and 50 yards. 

$9.00 registration fee. $1.00 per target. $1.00 re-entry fee. 
Larry’s famous Hot lunch, and cold non-alcoholic beverages available from 12-1 pm.

Directions to the club  From North & West

  I84 to Route 17 (Quickway) East to Chester Exit. Left at traffic light at end of exit. Right at traffic light onto 17M. Pass MacDonald’s and Rowley Lumber on right. Make right at traffic light onto King’s Highway.

King’s Highway to Sugarload Extension. Left at T onto Bellvale & Gibson Hill Road . 2 miles on Gibson Hill Road , pass lake on right. 1 mile make left at sign for Monroe-Chester

Sportsmen Club. Follow access road to top of hill.

Directions To Club From South & East

I87 (NY Thruway) To Route 17 (Quickway) West to Chester Exit. Right at end of exit. Right at traffic light onto 17M. Balance of directions as above.
